This beautiful Downtown Huntsville engagement session is what a photographer’s dreams are made of. At least my dreams… because I love that beautiful glowing light! This entire session was shot in 20 minutes all in one location!  It’s definitely ranking in my top 5 sessions that I’ve shot in the past few years!! Downtown Huntsville offers so many different spots for engagement sessions and each offers a different feel! The top of this parking garage definitely gets the best light in town if you time your photos perfectly & this downtown Huntsville engagement session is the perfect example of that!

Kendra & Kyle met up with me 45 minutes before sunset in order to capture the golden light that you can only capture at this specific time of the day! There was a  very small window of time where the sun would be perfectly placed in the sky so that it could be “hidden” by the couple. You also don’t want the sun so low that it disappears behind the mountain in the distance. The result of that specifically timed session is what you see below… that beautiful soft glow that makes me swoon!

Meet Kendra & Kyle!

These two lovebirds were so wonderful to work with! When they were told them that I wanted to shoot at the top of a parking garage they didn’t question my vision & brought their A game!  It was wonderful meeting them and hearing about how they met at work! They got engaged at a Boston Red Sox game earlier in the summer!  And even though Kyle possesses that typical male hatred for taking photos, he was a great sport! He even agreed that the session “wasn’t so bad” afterward. That is a major compliment as a photographer, because often times the men are the hardest to make comfortable.  If you can pull that off then you’ve done something right!
